Winter Wonderland
In mid February we headed north (way north) to the Ferriter's for a week. Noah's Nanny was kind enough to offer to watch him while we took a trip further north into Quebec. We ventured to Mount Tremblant for 3 days to ski. It has been a long time since we had experienced real winter and this trip really delivered.
Noah had never walked around in snow before, he seemed to really enjoy stomping around the driveway.

There is no mistaking this scene for Virginia. You can barely see it in the picture but the whole St. Lawrence River is frozen over.

Some nice people from New York city took this one. It was a very international mountain, we met people from all over the country and as far away as London.

Tara at the top of Mt Tremblant the summit lodge and Gondola are in the background. She only dared to show the tip of her nose in the arctic air.

We are smiling in this picture but we had to careful not to smile too long or our faces would freeze in that position, another reference to the cold, we have become acclimated to the mid-Atlantic weather.

We skied two of our three days and on our day off we explored the mountain village and the surrounding towns Mt Tremblant and St Jovite. Its amazing how big some Canadians can get, just look at their chairs!

I'm trying to figure out who had more fun...Tara and Matt...or Noah at his Nanny's house!? I think it's a toss up! Glad you guys had a nice ski trip!
