Christmas 2009

This year was the first time we had Christmas at "our" home. We had own tree and devoted more time and effort to decorations. It turned out to be a great time and not too out of the norm since we Gypsons before and Ferriters after.

Christmas Day Chloe was as equally thrilled with the wrapping as she was with what was inside, in fact maybe more so.

We all wore red pajamas, and some wore elf hats.

This is of course a 1 in 20 shot, thank goodness for digital cameras

This will be a good retrospective shot later in their musical careers

She is either really feeling the vibe or praying brother would just back off

Noah helped Dad build a gingerbread house.

and before we were done with it for the season Noah took a couple bites

One of our many many times out in the cold, snow and ice this winter. Noah loved being pulled in the sled around the neighborhood often saying "faster faster Daddy", which was happily obliged.

Heading back to our car from Union Station in DC.

Lunch at Union Station
Watching the model trains

Understandably Noah had no interest in turning his head to the camera

We enjoyed the warm and steamy Jungle and other beautiful rooms at the National Botanical Gardens

Noah was pretty amazed at the beautiful orchids..

...but some of them looked icky

Happy New Year
