Chloe's Early Days and Recent Trips to DC

Enjoying her first sponge bath

Any time she feels our touch she tries to eat what ever is near.

Michelle gets some snuggle time

Noah loved the Easter basket Nanny got for him. But of course what could be more fun than spreading plastic grass all over the place.

Trying out the hot sling Chloe's Aunt Tara got for her.

Sleeping shots are so easy with her sleep 20 + hours a day

A sweet big brother kiss

We had two visits from Nanny, Michelle and Noah while we were in the hospital. At first Noah was a bit shy but he left giving her lots of hugs and kisses. We loved the company to share our little one and break up the hospital routine.

Nanny holds her new Granddaughter for the first time.

In keeping with tradition we went into DC for the annual Cherry Blossom festival. Although it was cloudy the blossoms were at their peak. We were there exactly one week before Chloe was born. We also got in some lunch at one of our favorite DC restaurants Loreal Plaza (last time for two and a high chair).

Noah and Matt goofing off in front of the FDR memorial.

The tide was high in the tidal basin which causes the water to spill right onto the grass.

Two weeks earlier we went into DC for a trip to the building museum

The building museum has a great section for toddlers with trucks and thousands of super sized Legos.

Before heading home we let Noah run around the atrium of the National Portrait Gallery. Matt wanted to check out this newly opened public space which has an all glass roof and water continually running over sections of the floor.

What a scary tiger

Every night we check on Noah before bed and find him in all sorts of strange positions. Feeling around in the dark I wasn't sure he was in bed this night but I eventually found him curled up in the corner.
